Share and earn

Sharing your score now pays. Tap Share on the Game Over card and you earn 20 coins, up to three times a day, with 50 extra the first time you ever share. A small gold +20 on the Share button shows when today's shares still pay.

Challenge a friend

The link you share now carries your score. When a friend opens it, the game welcomes them with 100 coins, shows them your score on the title screen, and pays them 50 coins if they beat it. Everything happens inside the game in your friend's browser: no sign-up, and nothing is sent anywhere. The birds and coins page has the full rules.

Quieter in the background

The music now stops whenever the game is out of sight: another tab, another app, or a minimised window. Before, a game left on its title screen could keep playing music in a background tab, and with the game open in two tabs the two soundtracks played over each other.

Flappy Dash on itch.io

Flappy Dash is now also on itch.io, the home of independent games, where it plays in the browser just as it does here. This website stays the game's home, and scores shared from anywhere link back here.

Flappy Dash is out

The game launched here, free to play in any browser on phones, tablets and computers, with no download and no account. The first version includes:

• Five worlds, each changing how the bird flies: SKYLINE, THE DEEP, UNDERWORLD, CACTUS CANYON and THE EYE
• Fifteen powers that all fire together when your surge meter fills
• Six birds, five traits, four medals and eight achievements
• A daily challenge with the same course for every player in the world
• Guides to playing, the worlds, the powers and getting better
