Slice Dash
Swipe. Slice. Don't touch the bombs.
Fruit flies up into view and your finger is the blade. Cut them in half, chain three or more in one swipe for a combo, and keep clear of the bombs. Our second game, made by the Flappy Dash team.
Free. No download, no sign-up. Works in the browser on phones, tablets and computers.
What Is Slice Dash?
Slice Dash is a fruit-slicing arcade game in 3D. Watermelons, pineapples, coconuts, oranges, kiwis and nine other fruit are thrown up from the bottom of the screen, and you swipe across them to cut them. Every fruit splits along the exact line of your swipe, so you see the flesh, seeds and rind inside, and its juice splashes onto the board behind.
The blade only cuts when it moves fast enough, so a lazy drag brushes past. Bombs are thrown up with the fruit, and you have to slice around them. The game is fair by design: a bomb or a power banana never peaks right on top of a fruit, so there is always a clean way to cut everything. A test that plays thousands of games checks this every time the game changes.
How to Play
On a phone or tablet, swipe your finger across the fruit. On a computer, hold the left mouse button down and swipe. To start, slice one of the three big fruit on the title screen: the watermelon starts Classic, the pineapple starts Rush and the orange starts Relax. You can also tap the label under each fruit, or press 1, 2 or 3.
- Points. Every fruit is worth one point.
- Combos. Cut three or more fruit in one swipe for a bonus: as many extra points as fruit you cut.
- Critical hits. A lightning-fast swipe sometimes lands a critical hit, worth ten points more.
- Pause with the button in the top corner, or with P or Esc. The game counts 3, 2, 1 before it carries on, so you never lose a fruit to the restart.
Three Ways to Play
- Classic. Let three fruit fall and the game is over, and slicing a single bomb ends it at once. Every 100 points takes back one of your misses, so a strong player can go on for a long time.
- Rush. One minute to score as much as you can. Bombs only cost you ten points here. Power bananas help: the Ice Banana slows time and the clock, the Storm Banana throws fruit in from the sides, and the Gold Banana doubles your points. In the last seconds the giant Jackpot Melon hangs in the air: scribble across it as fast as you can, because every cut counts.
- Relax. A minute and a half with no bombs at all. The best place to learn combos and try out a new blade.

Levels, Missions and the Daily Challenge
Every game earns coins and experience. Level up to open new blades and boards in the shop. You always have three missions on the go, such as "slice 3 fruit with one swipe" or "score 70 in one Relax game". Finish all three for a bonus and a fresh set.
There is a gift every day, and it grows for seven days in a row. The daily challenge is the same game for every player that day, with a twist: twice the bombs, tiny fruit, only watermelons, or faster waves. Beat the target score for a big coin reward.
Blades and Boards
Ten blades, from plain Steel to Ember, Frost, Neon, Rainbow, Thunder, Ink Brush, Shadow, Petal and Gold. Each leaves its own trail, and some have a small power: Frost makes the Ice Banana last longer, Rainbow adds a point to every combo, Thunder makes bombs in Rush cost less, Petal gives Relax ten more seconds and Gold earns extra coins. You slice over one of six boards: a wooden cutting board, a marble counter, a bamboo mat, a beach deck, a slate kitchen or a night market.
Tips
- Wait for fruit to reach the top of their flight, where they move slowest, then cut several in one long swipe.
- In Classic, a fruit you miss costs more than a combo earns. Clear everything first, then go for combos.
- When a bomb is up, swipe in short strokes away from it rather than one long sweep.
- Save the Ice Banana in Rush for a busy moment: slow time makes big combos easy.
- If the game runs slowly on an older phone, open Settings and choose Low graphics.
