Slice Dash Tips

A good Slice Dash score is not about swiping more, it is about swiping well. Here is exactly how points are counted, and how to make the most of every mode.

How Points Are Counted

So the biggest scores come from long, fast swipes through a crowd of fruit: every fruit, a combo bonus on top, and a chance of a critical on each one.

Classic: Stay Alive First

In Classic you lose a life for every fruit that falls uncut, and three lost lives end the game. Slicing a single bomb ends it at once. The good news: every 100 points gives a lost life back.

Rush: One Minute, No Lives

Rush gives you sixty seconds and no lives to lose. Dropped fruit cost nothing and a bomb only takes 10 points, so this is the mode for wild, greedy swiping. The waves come faster as the minute runs down.

Relax: Practice Mode

A minute and a half with no bombs and no lives, so nothing can go wrong. Use it to practise long combo swipes and to learn how fast you have to swipe for critical hits. With the Petal blade, Relax runs 100 seconds.

The 7 Daily Challenges

Every day there is one challenge, the same for every player, with the same fruit in the same order. Beat the target score for 300 coins, plus 50 for every day in a row, up to 600.

Bomb Party is the hardest: short strokes only, and let a fruit go rather than swipe near a bomb. On Melon Day every fruit is a big target, so it is the best day to chase combos.
