Worlds and Levels

Seven worlds, each with ten timed levels, a free ride with medals, and thirty races against rivals on top. Here is what waits in every world and what it pays.

The 7 Worlds

Green Hills is open from the start. The others are unlocked with coins in the garage, once each. Every world is the same track every time you drive it, like a real course, and the hills get steeper the further you go.

WorldUnlockWhat makes it different
Green HillsFreeGentle rolling hills, windmills and barns. The place to learn.
Sun Dunes2,500Long, high dunes of soft sand. The tyres grip a little less than on grass.
Rain Jungle4,500Patches of mud where the wheels slip, rain, and ruins in the trees.
Frost Peaks6,000Ice and snow with half the grip of grass. Go easy on the gas or the wheels just spin.
Red Canyon12,000The steepest rocky climbs in the game, under stone arches.
Lava Ridge18,000Cracks of lava across the road. Stop at the warning sign, then floor it up the ramp and jump.
Moon Base25,000A fifth of Earth's gravity: enormous jumps and long, floating landings. Engines push about half as hard.

Unlocking every world costs 68,000 coins in all.

70 Timed Levels

Every world has ten levels, each with its own hills and a finish line. Level 1 is 300 metres long; each one after is longer, up to a full kilometre for level 10. Levels 1 to 4 are driven by day, 5 to 7 at sunset and 8 to 10 at night. A level opens when you finish the one before it.

The times were set by a near-perfect driver in the Trail Jeep with no upgrades: gold allows that driver's time plus 15%, silver plus 50%. So every gold time can be beaten in the first car, and upgrading the engine is how the third star comes within easy reach. In Green Hills, level 1 has a gold time of 24.5 seconds and level 10 one of 67 seconds.

Star prizes. Each new star pays coins, and the third star pays double. Prizes grow with the level number and with every world: 50 coins a star on the first level of Green Hills, up to 370 on the last level of Moon Base. Three stars on all ten levels of a world pay 3,360 coins in Green Hills and 10,440 on the Moon; all 70 levels pay 48,240 coins.

Free Ride and Medals

In a free ride there is no finish line: drive as far as you can before the fuel runs out or you crash. Every world has three medals for distance, each paid once.

Bronze pays 250 coins, silver 750 and gold 2,000. Every 500 metres also pays a distance bonus that grows as you go: 50 coins at 500 m, 100 at 1,000 m, 150 at 1,500 m. Your best run in each world is saved as a ghost car to race against next time.

30 Races

Races are duels to a finish line against a rival driver: Rex, Mira, Duke, Zara, Bolt, Kiki, Tank, Nova, Ace and Vex. The rival drives on the same physics as you, in a car like yours, tuned up a little more with every race. Win a race to open the next.

The Daily Challenge

Every day, every player gets the same challenge: a world, a vehicle lent to you with every upgrade at step 4, a target distance and a twist. Reach the target for 1,000 coins. The twists are Classic (just drive), Half tank, Low gravity, Heavy gravity, Nitro rush (start with three nitro bottles) and Gold rush (every coin is worth triple).
